Richard has been giving AGA demonstrations for more than 35 years, working both freelance and also as a Senior Training Manager within the Company.
Richard is a dynamic and accomplished chef and an authority on AGA cookery. His cooking philosophy is summed up as being “minimum effort for maximum effect”. As well as having featured on television and radio, he writes for several magazines including for 15 years his popular ‘Ask Richard’ column in AGA Living Magazine. A best-selling author, he has written seven books on range cooking, including The Complete Book of AGA Know-how. He is also the resident AGA Cookery Doctor on the award‑winning AGA Living website, where you can ask him AGA cookery questions and read his regular blog postings. Richard lives in Kent and travels widely throughout the UK, demonstrating how to get the best from AGA and Rayburn cookers. He has worked for AGA giving demonstrations throughout Europe and Scandinavia and also in America, Australia and New Zealand.
The class will cover both basic and more advanced techniques, showing how to use the ovens and hotplates in conjunction to get the best performance. Also lots of simple and easy AGA tips and tricks and useful “Get Ahead” techniques to make entertaining easier when cooking for friends.
This is a hands on, demo led class. You are free to take any food you make home with you.
The class includes a light lunch perhaps of dishes made.
